The Rhode Island Environmental Lead Program is sharing information about the settlement of an EPA/DOJ federal judicial case that was filed in federal court on December 17, 2020.

The case settlement is the result of a nationwide EPA investigation into alleged non-compliance with the EPA’s Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) rule, as well as some authorized states’ RRP rules (UT, MA, and RI), by the Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. and the contractors who perform renovations and repair work for them.
